I am a humanistic, relational therapist, warm, kind and easy to talk to. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you will be heard and valued. Therapy sessions are available online or in-person at my practice in North London. Together we can explore any struggles you may be experiencing so that you can live with a greater sense of well-being and self-confidence.
It can be so hard to reach out when you instinctively feel you need help. A problem or worry can be something from the past or a current situation that leaves you overwhelmed and unable to move forward. Maybe you simply know that something needs to change, but don’t know how to make that happen.
Working relationally, means I consider the relationship between us to be a key part of the therapy. I am trained in different modalities, and this enables me to work flexibly and holistically, adapting my approach to meet your specific needs.
My approach to counselling is underpinned by the belief that everyone has the capacity to change and heal, provided their environment facilitates growth. I aim to provide such an environment and through this process you are empowered to take action on your own behalf. Adopting a non-directive attitude and respecting your autonomy enables you to explore your position in the world.
I work with adults 18+ across the breadth and depth of experience and identity, whatever your gender, sexuality, race, class, values, background, disability, neurodiversity and stage of life. I adopt a culturally informed and anti-oppressive practice.
I have 30 years of experience working in the NHS and Occupational Health sectors, and have worked as a clinical tutor with adults and young people.
Alongside my private practice, I work for a registered charity specialising in men's and women's fertility struggles, IVF, pregnancy loss and related issues.
